Exbury 10k

What a nice day for a run - the 10k was great and included a nice stretch along the sea front at Lepe. Anyway I did it in about 51.06 which isn't too bad. The day turned out to be more like a marathon though when you consider all the chasing Poppy around the gardens that I had to do afterwards!!!

The Tommy Walsh Training Plan

I have my 10k tomorrow and my training hasn't been the best - stripping plaster from the walls in the main bedroom in preparation for it being plastered next week and carrying the rubble downstairs to the garage. I don't think the 2012 Olympians will be following quite the same routine in the run up to a race.

This room has needed more prep work than any of the others and it will be good to finally get it done. "Before" photos below...

Shed gone

I forgot to take a before and after shot but here is the space where our shed used to be. Steve has been busy with his dad and erected a wire fence to stop the pesky dogs from next door getting in and we are planning on this area of the garden being for Poppy. She will have her wendy house there at some point and possibly her picnic table come sandpit.
