Karen finally had an ultrasound scan today and it looks like all is well! No comments about the baby looking like it's Dad please!

The Lure of the Sale!

Even though we haven't sorted out a builder yet, let alone started work on the bathroom window which certainly needs to be done first, we ordered our bathroom suite today as it was the last day of the Bathstore.com sale!

Hopefully it will finally spur us into action as it really does need sorting out soon - the flaking wallpaper is not a nice feature! I bet you're all looking forward to coming to visit us now!

Wedding Pressie

Finally, after 3 months of waiting, our sideboard arrived today - we bought it with a lot of the money we received as wedding presents in October... and very pleased we are with it too! Thank you to all of those who contributed - hopefully you will see it when you visit :-)

Mmmmm - Pie!

I've recently been getting some use out of my subscription to BBC Good Food Magazine and today made the 'Cheesy Leek and Potato Pie' that Mandy liked the look of a couple of weekends ago!


Steve seemed to enjoy it anyway!!!
