Just wanted to share a pic of our tree looking rather stunning at the moment. We have finally found out what it is called and my friend Christina was right, its a Snowy Mespilus or to use the unpronouncable latin name, Amelanchier lamarckii...

Last weekend catch up

Jon and Mandy visited us from Manchester last weekend. Jon as usual captured the visit on his camera :-)

We had a great time - all being topped off by a rather interesting version of the new Singstar Rocks game!!!

Good Friday

A rather belated post. On Good Friday some of my friends from school and their husbands / babies visited us for the afternoon. It was lovely to see them and catch up, it was amazing for us to be in a room together at the same time!

Birthday dinner

I am now 30! My family visited us for the weekend and treated me to a posh meal at The Lord Bute in Highcliffe.

The Lakes

Our week in the Lakes was very rainy. Fortunately it stopped for us to do a few walks, including one which in our walking book was rated "easy". I think I was out of breath for at least 45 minutes as we climbed uphill. We did have stunning views at the top through.
