Kitchen Garden

Thought I ought to post a couple of pictures of the vegetable patch and the greenhouse. We have so far had good pickings from the broccoli, courgettes, broad beans and potatoes as well as a good crop of garlic!


Fingers crossed for the chillis, cucumbers and tomatoes in the greenhouse.

New Forest running

Steve and I did our first running in the New Forest last weekend. It was a really hot and sunny day and our efforts were not helped by the fact that the run started in the middle of the day. I was amazed when Steve decided to run with me for the entire run which was great because he helped me pace myself. We did very well, completing the 10 mile course in 1 hour and 36 minutes.

Mess!!!

The electricians moved in today - well it feels like they have anyway! We are taking advantage of my, ahem, long holiday from work to get the whole house rewired. It is going to be a very messy job but at least we will have trendy sunken lights in the living room when it is finished :-)
